Then you may just be the person we're looking for to work on our talented digital media team that values innovation, excellence and teamwork.
As the Front End Developer, you'll work alongside marketing specialists, designers and writers to create and improve websites that provide real value to Canadian families. As one of the in-house technical web experts, you will create websites, landing pages and other web content. You will also liaise with external partners and speak into strategic technology decisions.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement and develop frontend solutions for new websites and landing pages with our design team
- Optimize existing web assets for usability and conversion
- Work with the digital media team to determine the strategy, structure and functional scope of new technology projects to ensure maximum impact and engagement
- Create engaging email templates that are elegant and work in all email clients
As the ideal candidate, you will have at least two years of experience in front end development. A degree or diploma in web development or a related field would be considered an asset. Additionally, you can demonstrate experience creating standard-compliant, mobile websites using HTML/PHP, CSS and Javascript following UX best practices. Experience with Ruby on Rails, the Hubspot platform, or video editing experience would also be considered an asset.
