About The Role

Reporting to: Manager of Constituent Response

This key role assists in providing oversight and direction for the entire constituent response team. It also offers support and direction to customers and donors who contact us by phone, mail or email. This position requires the team member to perform a variety of tasks with frequent interruptions while being attentive to details and maintaining a positive attitude.  

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the Manager of Constituent Response to oversee the constituent response team
  • Assisting with the scheduling of the team to ensure adequate staff are available to perform tasks
  • Learning and being able to perform all tasks handled by the constituent response team
  • Order and donation processing, including making product recommendations, as needed
  • A variety of inbound and outbound customer service calls
  • Taking prayer requests and occasionally praying with callers on the phone
  • Completing various highly detailed data entry and administrative tasks
  • Daily reconciliation of cheques processed
  • Troubleshooting order and online store issues
  • Responding to emails while following ministry guidelines

As the ideal candidate, you have a post-secondary degree, diploma, or equivalent, customer service experience, an ability to learn quickly and retain a large amount of information, experience working in a database or customer relationship management system and experience managing a team. Strong organizational and task management skills, with a respect for timelines and deadlines, and the ability to prioritize tasks are critical to success in this role. Must have a high attention to detail. You have a demonstrated aptitude for learning new software and the ability to type at a reasonable speed (about 40+ wpm). You are team-oriented, able to manage competing priorities from various departments and manage weekly team targets. A willingness to work a flexible schedule is also required, usually not including evenings or weekends.
